WWE Give Hulk Hogan-Inspired Name To New Faction
One WWE faction has been given a new name but long-time wrestling fans will recognise a connection with the controversial Hulk Hogan.
Chad Gable has left Alpha Academy behind as he formed a new faction with Julius and Brutus Creed. The Creeds have come to Gable’s aid as he finds himself at the mercy of the mysterious and dangerous Wyatt Sicks.
On Raw in Baltimore, The Creeds were seen backstage with their old partner Ivy Nile who has been missing in recent weeks. Maxxine Dupri appeared to appeal to Nile to do something about The Creeds attacking Otis and Akira Tozawa but Chad Gable soon put a stop to the conversation telling Nile there was nothing to be heard from Dupri and even told Maxxine Dupri that she, Otis, and Tozawa could keep the Alpha Academy name.
It soon became clear why as before Gable and The Creeds emerged for their match with the Wyatt Sicks, Chad Gable introduced the group as ‘American Made.’

What Is The Hulk Hogan Connection?
While most WWE fans remember Hulk Hogan’s iconic ‘Real American’ theme song that he used for years in the company when The Hulkster made the jump to WCW, a new song was needed. Before Hogan donned the black and white of the NWO, Hogan was soundtracked by his ‘American Made’ song – a song that WWE Champion Cody Rhodes has in the past admitted he preferred to Hogan’s better-known WWE theme.
Chad Gable nor WWE have expressed any connection to Hulk Hogan with the new name for the group and given Hogan’s recent controversies, it’s not expected that they will.
