Lauren Sánchez dishes on low-key home life with fiancé Jeff Bezos: ‘My favorite time’
Lauren Sánchez’s life behind closed doors seems to be very much low-key while she’s often galavanting on luxury yachts with her soon-to-be hubby Jeff Bezos.
And when the duo has time to themselves at home, Sánchez revealed that they’re often catching up on some shows.
“My favorite time is when the house is calm and quiet and Jeff and I are deciding what show we’re going to binge that night,” the Emmy-winning former news anchor, 54, told People.
The pair announced last year that they were leaving Seattle, where Bezos built his empire, and moving to Miami to be nearer to his loved ones.
With all the moving around, Sánchez admits that the pair are just as indecisive on what to watch.
“It takes a little bit of time to decide” she told the outlet. “You can imagine our tastes are a little different. But I love our TV time, we just have the best time.”
“We recently saw Baby Reindeer, which of course everyone saw. Fallout was also so good. We also just finished Presumed Innocent, which was incredible,” she continued. “Oh, and we loved Severance.”
It comes as Sánchez recently returned to the US following a romantic trip to Italy with her soon-to-be hubby.
The couple — who got engaged last year — were photographed sharing a sweet kiss in front of the Trevi Fountain in Rome before tossing coins into the fountain.
Later on, the lovebirds even enjoyed a sit-down meeting with none other than Pope Francis.
Sánchez raved about the honor, saying she was “deeply touched” over the Pope’s “wisdom, warmth, and humor.”
Three days prior, they spent time on Bezos’ $485 million superyacht in Sardinia with a slew of A-listers, including Orlando Bloom, Katy Perry, Leonardo DiCaprio and his girlfriend Vittoria Ceretti.
The star-studded clan came to shore on one of the Amazon founder’s smaller boats for lunch at a high-end beach resort before heading back to the massive vessel — Koru.
Bezos and Sánchez have spent most of their summer traveling around Europe aboard Koru.
They kicked off their overseas adventures in Greece with Kim Kardashian before traveling through the Mediterranean Sea and up to Italy.
The billionaire also owns a “smaller” $75-million yacht named Abeona.
