Apple Letting Customers Pre-Preorder iPhone 16 Online, Ahead of September 13

Apple is letting customers get their iPhone 16 preorder ready ahead of the official preorder launch on September 16. This way, customers will be ready to fulfill their orders, trade-ins, and accessory purchases ahead of time.

By navigating to the official Apple website and exploring the iPhone 16 shopping page, you can now “Get ready for preorder” for the launch of iPhone 16. Days ahead of preorders officially opening, you can go through the entire preorder flow ahead of time. Just as you would preorder any other device or item from the Apple website, the company walks you through every step of the way.

By checking out the iPhone 16 page, you can begin selecting the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max. You’re then asked to select your colour options as well as storage. Like always, Apple displays the pricing models of each phone and storage option, alongside the finance options. On top of this, Apple asks you to complete the trade-in and Apple Care+ coverage process if desired.

Once completed, you can browse through iPhone 16 accessories, including the iPhone 16 Pro Clear Case with MagSafe. You can then add in the payment options you’d like to use on September 13th. Once finalized you’re all set. You can then return anytime after 8 AM ET/5 AM PT on Friday, September 13th to complete your order. To finish the preorder on Friday, visit Apple’s website, go to your bag or account and complete your order.

It’s a bit of a novel process as it saves customers from having to scramble and make a decision at the time the floodgates for preorders open. Now, customers can take their time, weigh their options, and mull over whether Apple Care+ is something they’d like to purchase.
