Bigg Boss 18 UPDATE: Nia Sharma Confirms NOT Being Part Of Salman Khan’s Show, Says ‘Please Don’t Blame Me’
‘Bigg Boss 18’ has made the audience curious with the mystery created around its contestants. Nia Sharma was one of the names making rounds on social media amid other speculated contestants but the actress has now finally denied the rumours. She also apologised to her fans and well-wishers for disappointing them as they were rooting for her.
Nia wrote on Instagram, “To the fans and well-wishers I have disappointed, Sorry. Truly been overwhelmed for the tremendous support, lovee and crazy hype! Almost made me realise what I have earned in the last 14 years. Can’t say I didn’t enjoy the hype and attention. But please don’t blame me. It wasn’t me.”
The confusion about Nia Sharma being part of ‘Bigg Boss 18’ started with Rohit Shetty saying she was the first contestant of the show at the finale of ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 14’. After this unexpected announcement, Nia asked people to not ask questions about the show. She wrote on her Instagram story, “Hi there! Please don’t call or text me to ask anything about the Bigg Boss thing. Mujhe maaf kardo. Mein nahi reply karugi. (Please forgive me. I won’t reply) Not up for giving quotes or any interviews. Have an awesome day.”

Nia is one of the most established actresses in the television industry and starred in several hit shows. She rose to fame in 2011 after starring in ‘Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai’ with Krystle D’Souza, Karan Tacker and Kushal Tandon. She went on to star in other hit shows like ‘Jamai Raja’, ‘Ishq Mein Marjawan’, ‘Naagin 4’ and ‘Suhagan Chudail’. She also made a name for herself in reality shows and participated in ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’, ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10’, and ‘Laughter Chefs’.
