Due to the martyrdom day of Guru Tegh Bahadur, the government has declared 24th November i.e. Friday as a dry day in Delhi. In such a situation, liquor shops will remain closed in Delhi. The special thing is that this time there will be no dry day in Delhi on Christmas. Meaning liquor shops will not remain closed.

Decision taken regarding Christmas also

According to the Excise Department, this time there will be a dry day in Delhi on 24th November instead of Christmas i.e. 25th December. This means that liquor shops will remain closed in Delhi on 24th November. Let us inform that in its order issued on September 29, the department had declared six dry days during October-December, which also included December 25, when Christmas will be celebrated.
