Mums who quit 9-5 jobs for OnlyFans fame and fortune – from banker to aspiring nurse

Career changes have seen aspiring nurses, office workers and even teachers switch to a career flogging sexy pictures and videos on OnlyFans. Their children are often also supportive

Saucy online sites are seeing more and more savvy mums quit the rat race to sign up and shoot sexy content.

OnlyFans is among the platforms which boomed during the pandemic and many mums across the globe decided to take advantage of this growing demand by selling their racy pics and videos.

Those quitting their jobs include former office workers, teachers and hospital workers. And after previously struggling to make ends meet, many have reported making mega-bucks in their new-found callings.

Here we look at some of the successful women, from Ava Grace to Mrs Robinson, who are now making a fortune by fulfilling desires online.

From banking to entertaining online

Mum of-two Lucy Banks quit her job in the banking industry three years ago to work as a model for OnlyFans.

The gorgeous brunette, from Perth, Australia, now earns up to £60,000 a month.

She works on the site when the kids are tucked up in bed.

“There’s so many things I have found myself doing that I never thought I would,” she said

“I was once paid to oil up my kitchen bench, then oil up my naked body and slide across it!”

She insists her OnlyFans job doesn’t get in the way of her parenting, or impact other aspects of her life.

“I’m still the same person, OF is just my job. You wouldn’t stop being nice to someone because they’re a mechanic, or a hairdresser,” she added.

Aspiring nurse is now ‘top creator’

Nicole Desmond worked as a hospital secretary and had aspirations of becoming a nurse before signing up to OnlyFans.

Now one of the site’s ‘top creators’, the Californian mum-of-two models as a “girlfriend” for subscribers on the adults only site.

In an interview on the No Jumper podcast, Nicole said she made the change as she wanted to be able to afford to take her children on nice holidays and give them better opportunities.

She previously revealed that she makes $100,000 (roughly £72,000) a month on OnlyFans, and even used income from the site to fund her mum’s cancer treatment.

At first, she said she was uncertain about showing her body to strangers online – and didn’t enjoy webcamming.

“It just grew for me because they like that, ‘oh I’m just the mum next door, I’m nothing special’. I’m really low-key,” she said.

Ava Grace used to sleep on friend’s sofas, struggling to make ends meet on low paid jobs.

The single mum started OnlyFans just before her 28th birthday as the coronavirus pandemic hit and people were forced into lockdown.

And within a year, the Nottingham beauty had made her first £1m, splashing out £250,000 on a new-build home.

The lockdown was a great opportunity for her as a lot of single people who didn’t have partners “needed a release”, she told The Sun.

Ava added that punters could often spend £73 per minute for a custom-made video.

Aussie mum Audrey Aura lost her job in lockdown, but now makes around £21,600 every month from her racy content.

It didn’t start the best though, with Audrey previously claiming she worked 100 hour weeks and didn’t have a day off for months in her first year on OnlyFans.

She told the Daily Mail: “I definitely burnt myself out from overworking, which is extremely common in this business, but there is so much to do and not enough hours in the day to get it all done.

“I’m still recovering from overworking myself and am cautious to take more time for self care now.”

She also stated that OnlyFans improved her confidence in her body and made her feel empowered.

Audrey said: “I think it’s empowering to know that plus size people aren’t always seen as disgusting, like society portrays us, and there are people who see us as beautiful and sexy.”

On a regular day, the plus sized model chats to her fans, organises and schedules her posts and markets her page across social media.

From office marketing to marketing her own assets

Mrs Robinson ditched her marketing job for OnlyFans – and was later followed by her daughter.

Approaching mid-life, she used her experience to launch herself into a career of making money by selling racy snaps.

The star’s daughter Amber Blake followed her lead at the age of 24.

Her son was not convinced with the career move initially, she told the That’s Offensive Podcast.. But, after she had explained that there was a market for her nude pictures, he told her that he was on board.

“Do you really understand, you’re going to walk into school, and some kids going to hold up a phone, and I’m going to be naked on it, and they’re going to say, ‘your mum’s p***y’s on the internet’,” she recalled saying to him.

But, when her son asked her why she cared what people thought about her, Mrs Robinson changed her own perspective.

“So many OnlyFans girls say ‘it’s so empowering what I’m doing’, but it’s the truth,” she said.

“It’s the authenticity factor of it too, it’s so hot to just be able to be yourself.”
