Playboy model has boob implants removed after suffering from ‘Breast Implant Illness’

Playboy model and Instagram influencer Sarah Harris has candidly opened up about her ordeal with ‘Breast Implant Illness’ and how she had to get her boob implants removed for her health

A Playboy model has opened up about the debilitating symptoms she has suffered that she blames her boob job for- she now warns women from going under the knife.

Sarah Harris, 29, from New Zealand, who used to pride herself on her plastic chest, is now celebrating that she has had the implants removed and is learning to embrace her natural bosom.

The Instagram influencer and model, who has posed for the likes of Playboy, claimed that she was in “denial” about her health being negatively impacted by her cosmetically enhanced breasts – and it took her five years to realise.

She even felt like she would lose her identity and looks if she did not have big boobs any longer.

Back when she was 21, Sarah had a benign lump removed from her chest which left her with an asymmetric breast, one being an A cup and the other a D.

Years later in 2017, she got some new implants in Thailand – but things started to go downhill for the stunning model.

She started to notice her full body was coming out in a rash and clumps of her hair started to fall out – Sarah even experienced chronic fatigue which made it hard to get out of bed.

“I ended up having every test under the sun to try to find out what was going on. And they told me I had IBS and auto-immune issues and all these different things that just keep coming up inconclusive.

“I just kept thinking no, it can’t be that.

“I just kept looking everywhere else to try to figure out what else it could possibly be because I didn’t want to take away my looks”, reports the New Zealand Herald.

And, her ill health started to grab the attention of her fiancé, Joshua Antonio Williams.

He branded her “a 29-year-old living in an 89-year-old’s body” due to her lack of mobility.

As Sarah continued to struggle, she was referred to a top surgeon in New Zealand and scans revealed that she had severe inflammation in both breasts.

The medical professional suggested that the model should get her implants removed to aid her back to full health, they wrote in a letter: “[She has] inflammatory and auto-immune symptoms associated with her breast implants.

“Although these have not ruptured it appears that she now has established symptoms of breast implant illness.”

Knowing that the implants must go, Sarah agreed.

And after a five hour surgery, Harris admitted she already felt better.

“I feel like I’m not walking squishing my shoulders forward… I’m grateful for every breath I take. I can take a deep breath now and I don’t feel trapped – it’s amazing.”

Since embracing her natural chest, Sarah feels like she is in a much healthier position. But now believes she was suffering from Breast Implant Illness (BII).

Although not officially medically recognised, according to The British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons: “Breast Implant Illness is not a medical diagnosis, but rather a term developed by those who have a variety of symptoms they feel are related to their breast implants.

“These include tiredness, “brain fog”, joint aches, immune-related symptoms, sleep disturbance, depression, hormonal issues, headaches, hair loss, chills, rash, hormonal issues and neurological issues.”
