Prince Harry and Meghan Markle spotted for first time after returning to US from Jubilee celebrations

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been spotted back in the US after flying home before the end of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee following a weekend of mixed emotions

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have arrived back in the United States after flying home early from the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

The Sussex couple were seen inside a car after landing in their private jet on Sunday evening at Santa Barbara, California (June 6).

They reportedly departed for the US earlier in the afternoon with children Archie, 3, and Lilibet, 1, while the Platinum Jubilee Pageant was underway at Buckingham Palace.

It comes after royal expert Kinsey Schofield said the couple may face questions from the children in the future over their relatively light involvement in the weekend’s festivities.

Their decision to ‘step back’ from the Royal Family in 2020 means they were not seen on iconic Buckingham Palace balcony at the Trooping the Colour ceremony on Thursday (June 2) but only witnessed in the background after being snapped in the windows.

The couple were also seated away from senior royals during the National Service of Thanksgiving for the Queen at St Paul’s Cathedral.
