According to a report by Zee Business, from July 1, these trains will be run with old number plates and old fares.

Let us tell you that during the Corona period, passenger trains were run as special trains by adding 0. The fare of these trains was also higher than that of passenger trains. Now after three years, the Railways is going to change the number of special trains and run them again like normal trains. These special trains have a total of 119 trains including Lucknow division, Moradabad as well as Ambala division. Let us tell you that during Kovid in the year 2020, the Railways ran trains as a special category by adding zero. The fare of these trains had increased directly three times.
What is a special train
During the Corona period, the trains whose number was started by the Railways with zero were run as special trains. The fare of these trains is higher than that of ordinary trains. Now the Railways has decided to change it from July 1. Obviously the train numbers of these trains will change, their fare will change.
Fares reduced with change in train number
Railways started reducing the increased fares of these trains which were zeroed as Covid from February 2024 itself. Railways has also gradually restored passenger train fares from February this year. Now the train numbers of these trains are being restored as before by removing the zero. A total of 119 trains are included in this list, whose numbers have changed from today.
Why did the Railways take the decision
